Do I have to be a member or subscribe?
No. LiveStalks Local is free to browse and free to order. You only pay for what you buy.
What if I miss my pickup window?
Most farms hold for 24 hours or rebook you for the next pickup day. Cancellation and refund policies are set per farm and shown at checkout.
Do you deliver?
Some farms partner with local delivery for nearby ZIPs. Delivery options show up at checkout when they're available for you. Pickup is the default and the cheapest.
Can I pay with SNAP/EBT?
Yes — farms that accept SNAP/EBT show a badge on their listing. You can filter to show only SNAP-accepting farms.
Are the prices higher than the supermarket?
Often yes, sometimes no. You're paying a fair price to a real farmer, not a wholesale-stripped price after a long supply chain has taken its cut. The trade is in food that tastes like food and dollars that stay in your town.
How does LiveStalks Local make money?
A small platform fee on each order — set so it works for the farm first. Farmers see same-week payouts, not the 30/60/90-day terms big distributors push.
